I. Academic Foundation
The program builds upon the Artificial Intelligence program approved by the Ministry of Education in 2020 at China Jiliang University (CJLU). It is supported by Zhejiang Province's first-class disciplines of Information and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Technology, and it is supported by a master's degree authorization point in Artificial Intelligence. Emphasizing broad integration with industries, the AI program provides strong momentum for AI technologies to drive industrial development. CJLU collaborates with Huawei and many other renowned AI enterprises in talent cultivation and curriculum development to meet the substantial demand for AI professionals. The program is equipped with specialized laboratories including the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Intelligent Perception Laboratory, and the Internet of Things Technology Laboratory, and it hosts competition platforms such as the Intelligent Connectivity Competition, Freescale Cup Intelligent Car and Electronic Design, ACM Programming, Intelligent Robot Creative Competition, and Artificial Intelligence Innovation Contest.
II. Education Objectives
Oriented to the national demand for the AI industry and serving Zhejiang Province's "415X" Advanced Industrial Cluster Strategy, this program aims to cultivate well-rounded, globally-minded talents in emerging engineering disciplines who master fundamental AI theories, basic knowledge, and core skills. Graduates will be able to engage in scientific research, product design and development, and project management in the AI field; apply AI technologies to solve practical problems across various industries, such as data collection and processing, algorithm analysis, intelligent control, and metrology and testing; and possess an international perspective, innovative practical ability, strong professional ethics, and a deep sense of patriotism.
